Dear members and friends

Over the last few months, we have seen the Covid19 virus wreak havoc on world markets and Singapore, and our AdMarcom industry have not been spared. The havoc and uncertainty brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic has also shown no sign of easing up in the near future.

After due consideration, the 4As has come to the decision of not holding the 2020 Singapore Media Awards and 2020 Creative Circle Awards aka GONG Awards.

This is a decision that we have not taken lightly, and we have done so with the highest regard to protect the health and safety of our members, friends, employees and partners. We will now focus on new and exciting ways to continue helping our Industry players move to their next levels in their businesses and professional services.

We look forward to celebrating and honoring the work in 2021 when, hopefully, the world is more stable and everyone can give their work and businesses the focus it deserves.

We appreciate and thank you for your support in the past, and will advise the new dates once we have confirmed them.

Best regards and stay safe,

Bernard Chan

LETTER OF INVITE

WE’RE WITH YOU, SINGAPORE” – from the AdMarcom community in Singapore

We invite you to join us as part of a united AdMarcom industry group, to show our heartfelt appreciation to the COVID-19 frontliners as well as to raise funds for the vulnerable groups impacted by the COVID-19.

100% of the monies collected will be donated to a chosen charity.

As this is a developing situation, what is described below are broad strokes how the whole project will be executed. Fine-tuning will continue and updates will be provided as we progress.

How it works –

Association of Advertising and Marketing Singapore - AAMS (formerly 4As & IAS), working with  Moving Walls, our technical partner in the OOH Media platform, will act as the hub to connect media owners, advertisers, agencies including all players in the AdMarcom segment to develop and execute an outdoor campaign.

We seek sponsors to contribute $5,000* per unit of sponsorship. Rest assured that the media value will match or exceed the sponsorship cost.  Packages with full details of location, number of screens will be made available at a later date.  Selection on a first-come-first-served basis.

AAMS & Moving Walls will not be passing any of our costs onto the project and we hope that all contributions will be given freely.

This is where we hope that you, as a key industry player, will take on a relevant role as follows:

Advertisers to sponsor advertising @ $5,000* per unit

Entitlement - details pending, but will be ad placements on digital out-of-home screens

With a 3-4secs [logo & short (non-commercial) message of your organization]

Media Owners to commit to 2 weeks exposure of Digital Screens, from w/c June 02 ,2020

AdMarcom services companies / Agencies/ members

To push for support amongst its clientele/network of contacts to participate as sponsors

physical interactions will require most workplaces (with the exception of essential services and key economic sectors)
